Delete your IPONex account

IPONex, developed by Niota, lets you permanently delete your account and the data associated with it. The fastest online way is to send us a deletion request by email.
This opens your email app with the details pre-filled. You can also write to support@iponex.com.
This page explains how to request deletion of your IPONex account, what data is deleted, what may be kept and for how long, and how long the process takes. It applies to the IPONex mobile app and related services provided by Niota.
How to delete your account
Option 1: In the IPONex app
If you have the app installed and can sign in, this is the quickest option:
- Open the IPONex app and sign in with Google (or Apple on iOS).
- Go to your profile or settings.
- Open Account settings.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Option 2: Request by email
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, you can still request deletion from any device. Use the Request account deletion by email button above, or email support@iponex.com and include:
- The email address you use to sign in to IPONex.
- Your sign-in method (Google, or Apple on iOS).
- A short line confirming that you want your account permanently deleted.
How we verify your request
To protect your account from unauthorized deletion, we confirm that you own the Google or Apple account linked to your IPONex sign-in before we delete anything. We will never ask you for a password by email.
What happens, and when
Once your request is verified, we permanently delete your account and its associated personal data within 30 days. Residual copies held in encrypted backups are removed within 90 days. After deletion you lose access to the account, and the data cannot be recovered.
What data is deleted
Deleting your account removes the data linked to it, including:
- Your account identity, such as your sign-in email and user id.
- Your in-app preferences and saved items, such as followed or watchlisted IPOs.
- Other records tied to your account.
What we keep, and why
After deletion we do not keep your personal account data, with limited exceptions:
- Data we are required to keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes is retained only for as long as applicable law requires, then deleted.
- Aggregated and anonymized data that no longer identifies you may be kept indefinitely.
